When I was junioir high school student, I heard "English don't like top-heavy."

 

Can you understand its mean?

 

Subject in English sentence is very short.
However, in Japanese, Subject is long.

 

This is one of the deference English and Japanese.

 

For example,
【English】
It is very difficult to understand Japanese.

 

【Japanese】
日本語を理解することはとても難しい。
（To understand Japanese is very difficult.）

 

These red texts are subject.
In particular, in English, we can use "it" instead of a long subject.
However, in Japanese, we cannot use this.
